Who We Are

Sameer Lila was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta where he became a teacher. He moved to London, UK to complete his Master’s degree in Education. His Master’s dissertation focused on how the increased use of smartphones and social media impacts the mental health and social development of teenagers. Since then, Mr. Lila has taught High School Social Studies and Business in Canadian international schools in Qatar and Thailand. He’s very excited to take on the role of Social Studies Department Head at Fraser Academy.
