Who We Are

Sally Ferdosi joined Fraser Academy in the 2024–25 school year, bringing a strong background in linguistics and special education. She holds a Master’s in General Linguistics (2017) and a Bachelor’s in English Language and Literature (2015), both earned in Iran. Ms. Ferdosi completed Associate-level training in the Orton-Gillingham Approach in 2021, and previously taught English and music in Iran. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Special Education at UBC.

At Fraser Academy, Ms. Ferdosi supports neurodiverse learners through inclusive, research-based practices tailored to individual strengths. Her professional interests include Universal Design for Learning (UDL), assistive technologies, and social-emotional development.

Outside the classroom, Ms. Ferdosi enjoys music, plays Setar, and finds joy in climbing and nature. She values education as a tool for equity, confidence, and lifelong growth.
