Who We Are

Nicola Lott received her undergraduate degree from the University of Plymouth in the UK and a Master of Special Education with a concentration in Learning Disabilities from the University of British Columbia.

Ms. Lott is an accredited Structured Literacy Interventionist (CERI) and Orton-Gillingham Supervisor (OG Canada). Additionally, she holds a math specialty certificate and has trained with several remedial math and executive function leaders from across North America. For more than a decade, she supported learners with language-based learning difficulties, multisensory math, and executive function skills through her private practice, while also coaching educators and presenting professional development provincially, nationally, and internationally.

At Fraser Academy’s Outreach Centre, FAx, Ms. Lott serves as the Acting Director. She brings a super nerdy love of making math accessible and embedding executive function support into all areas of learning.

In her spare time, Ms. Lott is a keen sailor. Having crossed oceans in the past, she now enjoys exploring the wild BC coast with her family on their small sailboat.
