Who We Are

Ms. Malissa joined Fraser Academy in 2014, and currently serves as a Math Remediation Lead. She holds a BA in Psychology and a B.Ed. from UBC. She began her work at Fraser Academy as a Learning Specialist before moving into her current role.

Ms. Malissa supports students in strengthening their numeracy foundations and building confidence in mathematics through a multisensory approach. She enjoys helping learners uncover the patterns and connections that make math logical and engaging. At Fraser Academy, Ms. Malissa values collaborating with colleagues to integrate evidence-based strategies and create a supportive environment for student success. She finds joy in seeing students grow not only in their math skills but also in their perseverance and confidence as learners.
