Who We Are

Lavanya Anand, originally from India, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Education from the University of British Columbia. Her academic background reflects a strong interest in understanding human development, both cognitively and socially.

Ms. Anand has lived in diverse countries, including Russia, Ukraine, the UAE, and Kazakhstan, experiences that have shaped her global perspective and cultural awareness. She has worked previously with children on the autism spectrum, providing individualized support to help them thrive academically and socially. Additionally, she served as a research assistant in UBC’s Department of Psychology, where she contributed to studies examining the long-term moral and social development of infants.

Currently, Ms. Anand is a Learning Specialist for the Middle and Senior School, where she is dedicated to fostering student growth, building confidence, and supporting diverse learning needs. She is passionate about creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
