Who We Are

Kelley Ford holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in English Literature and Creative Writing and a diploma in Special Education from the University of British Columbia, as well as a Bachelor’s of Education from Simon Fraser University. She joined Fraser Academy in 2005 as a Learning Specialist after completing training in the Orton-Gillingham approach.

With a deep passion for literacy, Ms. Ford is dedicated to helping students recognize and build upon their strengths to achieve reading success. Over the years, she has seen firsthand how the Orton-Gillingham method and individualized instruction can transform lives and empower students to reach their fullest potential. She is equally passionate about literature and strives to cultivate a lifelong love of reading in all her students.

Outside of school, Ms. Ford enjoys hiking in the mountains and spending quality time with family and friends.
