Who We Are

Kat Mc Ateer holds a BA in English Language from the University of British Columbia, and trained to be an Orton-Gillingham tutor at Fraser Academy. After tutoring privately for a number of years, she joined the Fraser Academy community in 2017.

A dyslexic herself, Ms. Mc Ateer knows first-hand the impact a multi-sensory, personalized education can have on an individual’s love of learning.

Ms. Mc Ateer also holds diploma’s in Nutritional Therapy and is a qualified yoga teacher. She is currently working towards a Master’s in Special and Additional Learning Needs, and is enjoying learning new ways to help her students. In her spare time, you will find her with her family, enjoying the outdoors, or on her yoga mat.
