Who We Are

Justine Cheung started at Fraser Academy in 2022. She has worked as an Art Specialist at various independent schools in Vancouver for over 10 years. Ms. Cheung has experience working with diverse learners and has completed the Orton-Gillingham Classroom Educator course. Ms. Cheung has a Bachelor’s of Arts, and majored in Visual Arts at UBC. She taught abroad in Japan for a year, and then continued her education at UBC. After completing her Bachelor’s of Education in Secondary Methods in Art, she taught students from K-7. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s in Museum Education.

Ms. Cheung loves teaching art and is very passionate about inspiring students to find their artistic voice. She enjoys working with diverse thinkers and seeing their artistic growth year after year. In her spare time, Ms. Cheung enjoys biking, swimming, baking, foraging for mushrooms, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
