Who We Are

Jody Vanegas earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and K–12 Reading Intervention from Washington State University, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Concordia University, and completed a principal certification degree at George Fox University. She was selected as a member of the pilot cohort for the Management Foundation Standards program, a collaborative initiative with the BC Ministry of Education, the BCPVPA, and partner organizations.

Since joining Fraser Academy, Mrs. Vanegas has been dedicated to supporting students’ growth through collaborative problem solving, social-emotional learning, and a strengths-based approach. She values creating a positive, supportive environment where students feel confident exploring their abilities and developing new skills.

Mrs. Vanegas is passionate about meaningful learning experiences that honour each student’s potential. She is inspired by the joy of helping students recognize their progress and believes that every learner thrives when provided with guidance, encouragement, and purposeful opportunities to succeed.
