Jo Stebbings has been an educator at Fraser Academy since 2000. Starting as an OG tutor, Ms. Stebbings became Director of Learning Services in 2010 and held that position for eight years before moving to the FAx Outreach Centre as Director of Educational Consulting.

Ms. Stebbings is the co-creator of Fraser Academy’s school-wide executive functioning curriculum and has presented at the Westcoast Executive Functioning Conference in California and the ResearchILD’s Learning Differences Conference at Harvard Graduate School on “Creating an Executive Functioning Culture: Fraser Academy’s Journey.” She is passionate about supporting learners with executive function challenges and has created the FAx EF Coaching Program where she trains educators and works with learners of all ages in the community. In addition, her current role includes supporting families and individuals in navigating the educational system for those who learn differently.

Ms. Stebbings received her Master of Arts in Leadership degree from Royal Roads University in 2012 and her Orton Gillingham Associate certification in 1999. She recently published a research study in The International Journal for Research in Learning Disabilities comparing interventions for dyslexia.
