Who We Are

Graeme Hafford joined Fraser Academy as a Learning Specialist in September 2025. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in 2022, majoring in Geography with a minor in Linguistics. Mr. Hafford holds a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Certificate, and is an Orton-Gillingham Associate in training. His passion and expertise include foreign languages, such as French, German, and Spanish.

Prior to Fraser Academy, Mr. Hafford worked as a curriculum-development consultant in linguistics, indigenous-language, and ELL education, with his work being incorporated into a report for the United Nations Decade of Indigenous Languages. He has also provided private tutoring in French, Spanish, and English-language literacy.

Mr. Hafford believes that the love of learning is contagious. He strives to communicate his linguistic passion through his teaching, with the aim of instilling a lasting appreciation for the beauty and complexity of language in his students.
