Who We Are

Fernanda Gelain holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and has been involved in education since 2007. After immigrating from Brazil to North America in 2006, she became fluent in English and began teaching it to international students and immigrants. When she had her own children, she shifted her focus to early literacy and childcare, working with children of all ages to support their physical, social, and emotional development.

Her interest in learning differences began when her daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD. The Orton-Gillingham (OG) approach came into her life, completely changing the way she viewed teaching and learning.

Ms. Gelain finds teaching incredibly rewarding and is passionate about education that nurtures and honours each child’s unique needs, helping them grow with confidence and care.
