Who We Are

Fatea Ramlawi joined Fraser Academy in 2019. She holds a Bachelor’s of Education in Secondary Teaching from Simon Fraser University and is passionate about science, particularly Chemistry and Life Sciences. She also earned a B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology and an M.Sc. in Microbiology and Immunology from the American University of Beirut.

Ms. Ramlawi has taught internationally for over ten years. She is experienced in developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with the BC Curriculum, the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). Her teaching background includes working with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Ms. Ramlawi is passionate about building strong relationships with her students and creating a safe, engaging environment that fosters trust and empowers them to navigate rigorous academic challenges with confidence. She also enjoys sharing her love of travel, cooking, and exploring different cultures.
