Who We Are

Evret Tucker joined Fraser Academy in 2014 as the Junior Music Teacher before transitioning into his current role as Drama and Theatre Teacher in 2018. He holds a Diploma in Acting for Film and Television from VFS, a Bachelor’s of Music Therapy from Capilano University, and a Bachelor’s of Education from SFU.

Before becoming a full-time teacher and parent, Mr. Tucker was active in the indie music, theatre, and film scene, touring the country with his band. He continues to remain involved in both music and acting, bringing his professional experiences into the classroom to inspire and challenge his students.

Known for his theatrical, silly, and fun-loving approach, Mr. Tucker creates an engaging and supportive environment where students develop improvisation and theatre skills while building creativity, collaboration, and confidence.

As someone with dyslexia, he deeply relates to his students’ experiences and understands both the challenges and triumphs they face on their learning journeys.
