Who We Are

Courtney Comstock has been a Visual Arts teacher at Fraser Academy since 2019. She started her career in Sweden working as a Visual Arts teacher, department leader, and mentor for middle school students. During this time, she developed her passion for helping students learn how to learn, identify their strengths, and make steps of growth in areas of challenge. Ms. Comstock enjoys seeing her students discover their favourite art mediums and begin to develop their own artistic styles.

Ms. Comstock earned her Professional Masters of Education as a Classroom Specialist. She has also completed training in the Orton-Gillingham Approach. She enjoys helping students develop their literacy skills and the ability to express themselves beyond the limits of language through their art. In her spare time, Ms. Comstock enjoys art-making and hiking with her husband.
