Who We Are

Catriona Gordon, Team Lead of the Cross Curricular Program, is passionate about project-based learning and the integration of art into all subject areas. As a biologist, Ms. Gordon is keen to share her love of ecology, plants, growing her own food, and exploring the natural world. She joined Fraser Academy in 2015.

Ms. Gordon holds a BSc from the University of Toronto and a MSc from the University of Toronto and the Instituto Venezolano de Investigaciones Cientificas. She also has a BEd from Simon Fraser University.

Ms. Gordon has had many years of experience developing science curriculum, and teaching hands-on science with the Scientist-in-Residence program at the Vancouver School Board and Society Promoting Environmental Conservation (SPEC) School Gardens program. She has previously taught at Langara College and Van Dusen Botanical Gardens.
