Who We Are

Carrie Ellis has been teaching at Fraser Academy since 2013. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature in 2006, Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia in 2012, and Master of Arts for English teachers at SFU in 2022, with a focus on Indigenous literatures. Ms. Ellis is currently a middle school grade advisor and teaches English in both the Middle and Senior School.

Ms. Ellis loves the inclusive, friendly culture created by staff and students at Fraser Academy. In addition to teaching in the classroom, she enjoys being involved with co-curricular activities, such as the various outdoor education trips.

In her personal time, Ms. Ellis is an avid reader and likes to share her joy of logic puzzles and word searches with her students.
