Who We Are

Brett Lyons began his journey as an educator in 2020 when he became a writing tutor for the Douglas College Learning Centre. Seeking to improve his abilities as an educator and broaden the scope of who he is able to help, Mr. Lyons trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach through Fraser Academy and became an OG Practitioner with FAx in 2021. In 2022, Mr. Lyons received his Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from Simon Fraser University.

Mr. Lyons is passionate about teaching because it allows him to help develop and expand the worldviews of others. He is especially passionate about teaching students with learning differences as he hopes to provide them with the tools needed to engage with education in a way that allows their worldview to be impacted.
