Boyd Reynolds
Teacher/Librarian EmailBoyd Reynolds holds a Master of Arts in Children’s Literature from Hollins University, with a focus on creative writing, modern mythology, and graphic novels. He also earned a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of British Columbia.
Before joining Fraser Academy, Mr. Reynolds spent nine and a half years as the Academic Librarian and Bookstore Coordinator at the Native Education College in Vancouver, where he curated an Indigenous collection of more than 4,000 library items and managed the acquisition, cataloguing, and circulation of library materials. Previously, he served as the Grade 5–7 Teacher-Librarian at Saint Francis Xavier Elementary School in Vancouver.
Mr. Reynolds believes in a student-centred approach to learning in the library, where students have the opportunity to explore their interests in a relaxed, supportive, and enthusiastic environment.
