Who We Are

In 1993, Birgit Breuer graduated from the Technical University Munich with a Bachelor of Sport Medicine and a Teaching Certificate for English and Physical Education from the Ludwig-Maximilian University Munich. She wrote her thesis with distinction in Psychology entitled Violence against Children. Ms. Breuer further obtained a Bachelor of Marketing from Klett’s Management School Stuttgart in 1993 and a Leadership Certificate from Sony in New York in 2000.

Ms. Breuer has taught from 1992-2017 in middle/senior schools in Germany, the UK, and Canada. In 2017, she obtained her BC Teaching Certificate, and joined Fraser Academy as a PE and Math teacher. During her time at Fraser Academy, Ms. Breuer has taught Marketing/Entrepreneurship, PE, and English.

Ms. Breuer loves empowering youth through coaching volleyball, basketball, soccer, track & field and skiing. In her spare time, she enjoys canoe racing, beach volleyball with her two daughters, hiking, paddle boarding and last but not least international travel!
