Anna Chang is a lifelong learner and a passionate teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching in Korea, Taiwan, Montreal and Vancouver. Ms. Chang completed her BA in Art History from Carleton, BEd from the University of British Columbia, and her MA in Art Planning from Hong Ik University, Korea. She has recently completed her Diploma in Special and Inclusive Education through UVIC.
Ms. Chang began her teaching journey in 2002 when she moved back to Korea to do her Masters in Art Planning while teaching English at a public school. She then moved to Taiwan to study Mandarin and continued to work as a TOC / Learning Support teacher at Taipei American School and SEN and ELL teacher at Taipei European School. In 2015, Ms. Chang relocated to Montreal and resumed her work at Selwyn House School. In 2018, she moved back to Vancouver, where she grew up, to teach at Collingwood School as an English and Social Studies teacher in a specialized programme for dyslexia. Ms. Chang joined the Fraser Academy team in 2020.
Travelling around and living overseas have definitely gifted Ms. Chang with amazing experience and many opportunities to appreciate diversity. A well-travelled art and music enthusiast and a gourmet food lover, Ms. Chang appreciates all kinds of learning opportunities and hopes to influence her students as well.
