Who We Are

Anja Sigloch, Director of Outdoor Education at Fraser Academy, teaches Senior English, and co-teaches the Odyssey program. Before joining Fraser Academy, Ms. Sigloch taught, coached, and guided in schools and outdoor programs in BC, Central America, Korea, and the Caribbean.

Ms. Sigloch has a Bachelor’s of Arts and Bachelor’s of Education from UBC. She also has her 80 hour wilderness first aid certificate and is trained in mental health wilderness first aid.

She enjoys facilitating experiences that promote curiosity, compassion, and resilience, especially in the outdoors. She is grateful to reside on the lands of the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, and Squamish Nations, and to work with unique and wonderful students. When not at Fraser Academy, Ms. Sigloch can be found running in the forest, reading a book, paddling for a wave, or exploring in the mountains.
