Parents often seek out specialized schooling for their child when the mainstream system cannot accommodate his or her learning needs. Because they learn differently, it’s quite common for children with dyslexia (or other language-based learning differences) to fall behind in reading and math, without ever receiving the kind of instruction and personalized support they need to succeed.
Nine senior students from Fraser Academy had the opportunity to spend two weeks in Honduras over Spring Break. They had an amazing trip! Students were highly engaged in amazing experiential learning opportunities, showing great curiosity.
