Sixteen Fraser Academy athletes competed at the ISA Swim Meet on Friday, October 26 where many of our athletes ranked in the top 20 in their events. Swimmers from last year showed fantastic improvement and our new members achieved respectable times. Kudos to our athletes who exemplified incredible enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
On Tuesday, October 16th, seven Fraser Academy athletes competed in the Cross Country Independent Zone Championships where they all qualified to move on to the Provincial Championships! In the Jr Girls race Emmi O., Talia L., and Lucille S. came 12th, 13th, and 14th in the race to punch their ticket to provincials. In the Jr. Boys race, Yabi D. went for the win and had to battle for an excellent 5th place finish. In the Sr. Boys race Alexis D. and Frank C. finished 6th and 9th respectively. In the same race, Harrison A. took the win in convincing fashion.
We look forward to watching them race at Provincial Championships on Saturday, November 3!
A big congrats to the Bantam Girls Volleyball team who won their first playoff match on Monday, October 29th against King David. They have had an outstanding season and have shown amazing progress. They will be playing on Thursday, November 1st as they battle it out for the top 3 positions at Harry Jerome!

Basketball season finished off strong with all teams showing incredible sportsmanship and improvement throughout the season.
