Last week, we were honoured to welcome our grandparents and grandpals to campus. 

Grandparents’ Day is always a celebration, but it is also something deeper: a moment to reflect on the remarkable growth of our students. For them, this wasn’t just a performance; it was an opportunity to show their grandparents exactly how far they’ve come. Whether they were sharing a day in the life, wowing us with a science demonstration, or bringing us all to tears with their rendition of “Lean on Me,” the students were beaming with pride. They weren’t simply showcasing projects, they were sharing the confidence, perseverance, and a belief in their own abilities that has grown during their time at school.

Perhaps most touching was the pride reflected back at them. Many grandparents shared how moved they were by the transformation they have witnessed since their grandchildren joined Fraser Academy, serving as a powerful reminder of why this day matters so much. It is a celebration not only of academic achievement, but of growth, resilience, and the power of a community that believes in every child.
