Community Education Series

Executive Function and Learning

We are happy to have Fraser Academy’s Erin Kline, Executive Director of FAx, presenting on executive function and learning.

In this session, you will gain a deeper understanding of executive functions, the cognitive processes that students use for thinking, feeling and learning.

Ms. Kline will share how these processes develop in the brain through childhood and into adolescence. She will explain how these processes impact areas such as organizing ideas and spaces, regulating behaviours and emotions, and starting or completing tasks. She will also provide you with tips and tricks on how you can support the development of these skills at home.
