Jo Stebbings has been with Fraser Academy since 2000. As Director of Learning Services, Ms. Stebbings oversees the Tutoring/Learning Services program for all students in grades 1 to 12. Her vision is to approach Learning Services from a holistic view that encompasses all aspects of student learning from teaching literacy to engaging cognitive processes and developing strategies for executive functions. Ms. Stebbings is the co-creator of Fraser Academy’s school wide executive functioning curriculum and recently presented at the Westcoast Executive Functioning Conference in California on “Creating an Executive Functioning Culture: Fraser Academy’s Journey.”
Ms. Stebbings received her Master of Arts in Leadership degree from Royal Roads University in 2012 and her Orton Gillingham Associate certification in 1999. She credits the success of Fraser Academy’s Learning Services program to the dedicated, compassionate learning specialists who meet students at their level of success and inspire them to develop confidence as independent learners.
